I’ve tried to leave out a prop on purpose to bring it in at the end. All I had was a confused audience.

I have tried to create a message without first having a firm proposition. It does not work well. Any good message should have one thing that people can really go away saying that they got that point. Something that is easy to remember but doctrinally sound.

You have to have a good proposition that is key to your sermon!!

Having good propositions are very important. It should be a single sentence full of relevant information ready to explode into the ears of the audience.

The thing i got from this blog is that the propositions should not include all your divisions that is in your sermon.

The main point I took away from this post is “the proposition should be in the affirmative rather than the negative.” I was putting mine in the negative but this makes more sense.
